We have dealt with hyperglycaemia in critical illness, but what about hypoglycaemia? All the insulin trials (Belgian medical and surgical, SepNet, NICE-SUGAR) have reported an increase in severe hypoglycaemia in the intensive therapy group, but to date there has been no specific analysis...
